Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have won the toss against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 15 of IPL 2021 and elected to bowl first. The second game of the mid-week doubleheader in IPL 2021 will take place between three-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings and two-time IPL champions, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Chennai Super Kings have had a fantastic start to IPL 2021 as they have gone on to win 2 out of the three matches they have played so far. Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have had a dismal start to the tournament with 2 losses in the 3 games that they have played in the tournament so far.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have won the toss against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 15 of IPL 2021 and elected to bowl first. CSK coach, Stephen Fleming has maintained that Ruturaj Gaikwad will remain in the scheme of things for the side because of his performances last year. Dwayne Bravo misses out and Lungi Ngidi has come in for CSK.

Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have to include Sunil Narine in the playing XI as Shakib-al-Hasan has failed to make an impact so far the Men in Purple. However, it will be a headache for KKR to figure out Narine’s batting position as Nitish Rana has been exceptional with the bat in the tournament so far.

Chennai Super Kings Start As The Favourites To Win The Game

Chennai Super Kings will definitely start as the favourites to win this tie against Kolkata Knight Riders. This is because they have been accustomed to this venue after having played 3 out of 3 games here. Kolkata, on the other hand, will be playing their first game of IPL 2021 in Mumbai.

What favours CSK to win the tie is also their current form, wherein, they are on a 2-match winning streak. KKR, on the other hand, are coming off from 2 losses and hence, CSK look upfront ahead of the tie. The toss will once again be a crucial factor as dew is always a concern in Mumbai and the team that wins the toss will certainly like to bowl first.
