Australia star pacer Mitchell Starc remains well aware of the fatigue caused by the bio-bubble. Mitchell Starc, along with the Australian team and staff, will head to Bangladesh after completing their white-ball sojourn in the West Indies. The left-arm seamer, who ended the ODI series as the highest wicket-taker, revealed life becomes tough within the bubbles.

The rumours have already started as England players mull pulling out of the Ashes if their families are not allowed to travel. With Australia imposing strict COVID-19 protocols, England’s all-format players face the prospect of spending four months without their families. Former English cricketers have also supported them if they decide to do so. But the ECB and the cricketers will likely discuss the situation down under.

Mitchell Starc believes if the authorities allow the families to travel with the players, it would make a significant difference. The 31-year old understands that cricketers have got kids and partners back home; hence, having them makes everything special.

It would certainly make a difference, no doubt. Everyone’s got different circumstances. Guys have got kids, guys have got partners back home. Any time you get to spend that time with your family around the summer is always pretty special,” Starc stated as quoted by The Age.

I can’t speak for other guys but it’s certainly a challenge for me: Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc stated being in bubbles and hubs makes an extremely challenging life, revealing it’s as tough for him as it’s for Alyssa Healy. The left-arm seamer from New South Wales conceded they haven’t gone out of the hotel in the West Indies and anticipates the same in Bangladesh.

It makes it pretty tough when you throw in hubs and bubbles. I can’t speak for other guys but it’s certainly a challenge for me and Alyssa when you throw in two hubs at the same time. It’s certainly not been an easy one over here, there’s not been an escape from cricket or the hotel, which we probably had a little bit throughout the summer, and that certainly won’t be the case when we get to Bangladesh,” he added.
