MLC 2023: Texas Super Kings Rope In Faf du Plessis As One Of Their Overseas Player For Major League Cricket 2023

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) owned Texas Super Kings (TSK) have roped in the services of Faf du Plessis for the upcoming inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023. The South African batter will be reunited with his old franchise, with whom he spent most of his career with in the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

The inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket is all set to take place in the USA from July 13th to 30th. A total of 6 teams including Indian franchises in Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will participate in the tournament and the league will be played at a Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Faf du Plessis however will again wear the yellow jersey. But this time in MLC 2023. Not only him but Texas Super Kings have also roped in the services of Devon Conway, Mitchell Santner, David Miller, Daniel Sams, Gerald Coetzee, Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu.

MLC 2023: Stephen Fleming To head coach Texas Super Kings in MLC 2023 

Stephen Fleming, who is the head coach of Chennai Super Kings since 2008 in IPL, has been given the same role in Major League Cricket. He will be joined by Eric Simmons, who will be the assistant coach. 

Albie Morkel will also serve as an assistant coach whereas Russell Krishnan will be manager of the team. Gregory King will be their strength and conditioning coach while Lakshmi Narayanan and Tommy Simsek will be high-performance analysts and physiotherapists respectively.
