Sony Pictures Network Extends Its Rights With ECB For 6 More Years Till 2028

The exclusive television and internet rights will remain in the hands of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) for showing England games in India. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB)  has signed a new deal with SPN for an additional six years, through 2028.

In addition to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, and the Maldives are included in the agreement for the transmission of England’s games.

With the extension, Sony will have the only right to broadcast all senior men’s and women’s international games played by England as well as domestic fixtures on its sports channels and OTT service SonyLIV.

The Indian Team Will 21 Matches In England From 2023-2028

India recently played an ODI and T20I series in England which they won 2-1.
