Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Shimron Hetmyer didn't have the kind of outing he would've wanted in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 50th game of the tournament took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Shimron Hetmyer failed to take his team home against Rajasthan Royals as he perished at the crucial stage of the game as his team was chasing 202 runs. When he came to bat, it was expected that he would take his team home as he looked solid.

Shimron Hetmyer played some crisp shots in his innings and out of all, his six against T Natarajan stole the limelight. The left-hander landed a magnificent blow and made almost everyone applaud him for his effort at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

It was during the first ball of the 18th over when T Natarajan bowled a slower ball in the slot. Shimron Hetmyer came down the track and launched it over long-on for a clean six, ranging 106 meters. The batter, however, looked amazed by it as he gave a hilarious reaction after that.

Here's the video:

However, after that six, Shimron Hetmyer couldn't make a big impact with the bat as he perished in the same over to T Natarajan. After hitting the massive six, he came under pressure and played two dot balls on the next two balls of the over

On the 4th ball of the over, T Natarajan removed him. The pacer bowled a full toss to which Shimron Hetmyer lofted it straight to the fielder at long-on. The batter managed 13 runs off 9 balls and his wicket saw Rajasthan Royals lose their 5th wicket.

After he got out, Rovman Powell (27) gave his best with the bat and took the game to the last over. However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar oozed his class with the ball and clinched the game for his team. With 2 runs needed off the last ball, the pacer removed the batter and won the game for his team by 1 run.

Cummins and Bhuvi showed their class at the end - Travis Head after Sunrisers Hyderabad win

Travis Head, who played a magnificent innings of 58 runs, was elated with the way his team won the game. He was in awe with the way Pat Cummins and Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled in the end and said that it was a good win for them after two losses.

Travis Head further added that it was a challenging wicket but the two senior pacers of the team oozed their class with the ball. While talking about the same, he stated:

"It's a good win, it's probably one that we didn't expect at the end there. Cummins and Bhuvi showed their class at the end and got us a nice win. We've been playing well, we've had a couple of losses, nice for the energy.

"It was challenging but with the wicket and the way Pat bowled the 19th over, he'd be disappointed with the last ball, but class at the end, two class players, two of the old boys. Very satisfied with the win. I thought that (201) was a great score," he concluded.
