Asia Cup 2018: Super Four, Match 6 - Pakistan vs Bangladesh - Twitter Reacts as Pakistan Pegs Back to Restrict Bangladesh for 239

Pakistan Cricket team pegged to restrict Bangladesh for 239 runs after a 144-run partnership in the virtual semi-final clash of the ongoing Asia Cup
Meanwhile, Pakistan started on a high after Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. Junaid Khan, who is playing his first game of the Asia Cup struck twice out of the three wickets with the new ball to reduce Bangladesh for 12 for two under four overs. The Green Caps new ball bowlers continued to impress as they restricted Bangladesh for 27 for three in the first ten overs.
It was when Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun started to repair the innings The duo joined hands to stabilise after their top-order’s malfunction. Pakistan looked wayward during these times as Hasan Ali failed to back up Junaid and Afridi’s efforts at the start.
However, the innings took a complete U-turn as Mithun and Rahim led Bangladesh’s recovery in style adding 100 runs. Rahim even reached his fifty, his 30th in ODIs. Pakistan spinners Shadab and Nawaz have bowled quicker today, thus getting little or no turn on what’s admittedly a grassy wicket.
Mithun also reached his fifty as their stand became the highest fourth-wicket stand for the Tigers against Pakistan. Hasan Ali finally provided the breakthrough dismissing Mithun at the score of 157 after the end of 34 over. Furthermore, back to back wicket for Pakistan put them ahead as they removed Musfiqur Rahim at the score of 99.
Junaid Khan returned with four wickets as Bangladesh posted a target of 240 in front of Pakistan.
