Hasan Ali finally provided the breakthrough dismissing Mithun at the score of 157 after the end of 34 over. Furthermore, back to back wicket for Pakistan put them ahead as they removed Musfiqur Rahim at the score of 99.

Junaid Khan returned with four wickets as Bangladesh posted a target of 240 in front of Pakistan.
