SRH vs RCB: "RCB silencing home crowd of SRH" - Twitter reacts as Royal Challengers Bengaluru register their second win of IPL 2024

Fans on Twitter reacted after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally registered their second win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (25th April).

Royal Challengers Bengaluru opted to bat first and openers Faf du Plessis (25) and Virat Kohli (51) came out all guns blazing. The duo added 48 runs for the opening partnership and put the opposition under pressure at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad then picked two quick wickets but it was Rajat Patidar (50), who changed the momentum in his team’s favor. The batter added 65 runs with Kohli before Cameron Green (37*) finished the innings on high and took the team past the 200-run mark. 

Based on collective batting effort, Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a total of 206 runs on the board. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers with figures of three for 30. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad couldn’t get going at all in the chase as they lost wickets right from the start. Abhishek Sharma (31) batted with positive intent but couldn’t carry on after the start as after his wicket all the big names fell. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals and left the home side tottering at 124 for seven. Shahbaz Ahmed was the lone warrior for his team as he played a knock of 40* runs but couldn’t take his team home as Sunrisers Hyderabad lost by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
