Yet another former stalwart player heaps praise on Cheteshwar Pujara for his exceptional way of dealing things. He lauded Pujara’s patience while tackling Australia’s ploy in attacking him. Further, Michael Vaughan believes that India has already sealed the series victory for their show on Day 1 of the Test match.
Cheteshwar Pujara was brilliant on Day 1, who remained unbeaten with 130* runs to his name. His stunning knock helped India to put 303/4 on the board at the end of Day 1 stumps. Hanuma Vihari (39*) is at the crease with Pujara.
Great Away Series Win – Michael Vaughan
The former English cricketer quoted that it was a great series victory for the Indian National Cricket Team. He believes that Pujara’s knock has already given them the victory despite 4 days left in the fourth and final Test.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”Well done India .. Great away series Win… A lesson to all young players .. The Cheteshwar Pujara’s way is the way to have success in Test Cricket… No way the Aussies can come back from this 1st day.”

Cheteshwar Pujara scored his Third century of the series:
Pujara has been in outstanding form in Australia. Last month, he had bailed India out of trouble with a sublime 123 at the Adelaide Oval before another half-century in the second innings ensured India had enough on the board to secure a historic win.
Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara scored his 18th Test century on Thursday during the first day of the fourth Test between India and Australia. He faced 199 balls and smashed 13 fours over the course of another marathon innings.
Cheteshwar Pujara remained unbeaten on 130* at the end of Day 1 stumps, who faced 250 deliveries. He almost batted entire day, as KL Rahul walked back for a cheap score. With the kind of form he is in, perhaps, Pujara is eyeing his double century in Australia.
