Australia vs India 2018-19: Shane Warne Praise Kuldeep Yadav for Five-Wicket Haul

Australia’s legendary spinner Shane Warne praised Kuldeep Yadav for his five-wicket haul against Australia. Yadav scalped 5-99 in the first innings of the Australian innings and bowled with great control. Consequently, Shane Warne took to his Twitter account to congratulate his student.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has huge respect for Shane Warne. He said that it was his dream come true to take a five-wicket haul in front of his idol. In fact, Shane Warne was seen providing some tips to Kuldeep Yadav during the practice session in the first Test match at Adelaide.

Yadav was breathing fire.

Warne was seen asking Yadav to make more use of his shoulder while delivering the ball. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav became the first Indian bowler to take five wicket-haul outside Asia across all the three formats. Yadav had taken his first five-wicket-haul against the Windies while playing at Rajkot.

Thus, Kuldeep Yadav would have been delighted to hit the ground running in the first Test match on the Australian soil. Yadav breathed down the neck of the Australian batsmen and had them all at sea. It was a fine spell from the chinaman as he bowled with great control on the pitch which didn’t have a lot of assistance for him.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav would have received a shot in the arm after his sublime performance in the first innings. The visitors were able to bundle out the hosts for 300 runs in the first essay and have enforced the follow-on. However, unfortunately, the play is once again delayed due to bad light.

Shane Warne took to Twitter to congratulate Kuldeep Yadav. The post read as, “Well bowled & congrats on your 5 wicket haul @imkuldeep18 also, thank you for your very kind words – it’s been a pleasure to work with you & watch you bowl my friend! ?”
