Australia vs India 2018: Jasprit Bumrah is the Virat Kohli of Indian Bowling - Aakash Chopra

Former Indian National Cricket Team opener Aakash Chopra has rated Jasprit Bumrah as the Virat Kohli of Indian bowling following his outstanding show against Australia.

Meanwhile, Bumrah has been sensational for Virat Kohli & Co since he made his debut in Test cricket earlier this year. He has gone onto become a key weapon for Virat Kohli in all formats of the game. After making a mark in South Africa and England, Jasprit Bumrah was pivotal for India’s win at Adelaide.

He bagged six wickets across the two innings to help India register their first win Down Under in the last ten years. Moreover, it is their sixth Test win in Australia soil ever. In the ongoing Perth Test, Bumrah picked two wickets in the first innings and so far one in the second essay. Although the tally of wickets is not that eye-catching, but he contained runs from one end to put pressure.

Aakash Chopra shared high praise for Jasprit Bumrah saying that he is a delight to watch. He also drew comparisons with Virat Kohli, who currently holds the top spot in the ICC Test batsmen list.

In addition to, India will bank on Jasprit Bumrah to continue his exploits with the ball to reduce Australia within a small total in the second innings.
