Former Australia cricketer, Shane Warne hasn’t been satisfied with some of the shot selection from the Australian batsmen in recent times. Meanwhile, Australia lost the third and final game of the three-match T20I series by six wickets at Sydney on Sunday. However, the series ended 1-1 after the second match in Melbourne got washed out.

Moreover, the Aussies were in a stable position until the eighth over of the game. They had scored 64 runs without any loss and after that Australia could only post 164 runs at the end of 20 overs. The reason for not putting a huge score was losing their wickets at a regular interval.

Later, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Marcus Stoinis had played some excellent cricket, as they added 33 runs at the end to past score 160 plus. Even the bowlers didn’t impress the management apart from Adam Zampa whose figures turned out to be 4-1-22-1.

Meanwhile, Shane Warne believes the shot selection from the batsmen is the main reason why Australia has been struggling off late. Quoting a tweet from Fox Cricket, the Shane Warne said,

“I’m all for innovation, but I think the mindset is currently wrong. Shot selection/match awareness in all forms is nothing short of horrific. Surely results answer this debate? “What does the team need me to do now “should be the thinking – not the excuse that’s the way I play.”

Meanwhile, India all-rounder, Krunal Pandya was the pick of the bowlers who rattled the middle order bagging four wickets to his name. Now, after the conclusion of T20Is, both India and Australia will square-off in the four-match Tests, which begins on December 6th in Adelaide.
