The Men in Blue is all set to meet England in the deciding T20I at the County Ground in Bristol later today. After an utterly dominating performance in the opening clash. India faltered in their 2nd encounter which saw them allowing England to claw their way back into the series. The Men in Blue won’t be bothered. They will be well aware of the fact that a resounding performance will give them a victory in the decider. They have a solid team and despite the defeat they are unlikely to tinker with their combination from the 1st two matches. Hence Dinesh and Karthik and Krunal Pandya will warm the benches. Had India won the previous match players things would have been totally different.

Let us have a look at India’s Predicted XI

Shikhar Dhawan

The southpaw hasn’t scored runs in the two matches but it won’t be wrong to say that Dhawan is still in good knick. The quality English attack has not allowed him to free his arms and get going. He will surely look to come back to form in the decider and get India off to a flying start.

The right-handed batsman is also due for runs in the series. He is a big match player especially in the shorter format and a big knock might just be around the corner. Rohit has been a terrific limited overs batsman over the years and his contribution might turn out to be vital for the visitors in the decider. He will surely look to be back among runs.

The stylish batsman smashed a sensational century in the opening encounter. He played a magnificent knock of 101 and ensured India reached the target of 159 in a canter. Rahul played a horrific shot in the 2nd match and was castled by Liam Plunkett. He will be a key man for India as they hope to win yet another series.

Virat Kohli

The skipper will keep coming at No 4 despite being a prolific No 3 batsman. He is always a team man and just to accommodate Rahul he has given up his trusted No 3 position where he has scored tons of runs. It might well be a ploy in the next World Cup. Virat coming at No 4 will also strengthen the middle order. He is the best batsman in the world at the moment and should be able to adjust to any position in the batting order.

Suresh Raina

The southpaw has recently made a comeback in the national team. He scored a brilliant century in England in India’s last tour. However, he hasn’t played to his potential in the series so far. But he hasn’t batted enough. He might not get to bat again tomorrow but he will be a very important player for India given the experience he has.

MS Dhoni

Dhoni scored an impressive 32 of 24 deliveries in the previous match. However, the English bowlers bowled in the perfect areas and didn’t allow him to go for the big sixes. He was in great touch during the IPL and smashed the bowlers all around the park.

The all-rounder is an asset for any limited overs team. The premier all-rounder in the world at the moment Pandya hasn’t quite got going with the bat. However, he is a man known to smash some lusty blows. He has also bowled pretty well and has taken several wickets in the recent past.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

He wasn’t at his best in the 1st match and conceded 45 runs in his 4 overs spell. However, he came back well in the 2nd clash and bowled a sensational 17th over which kept India in the game. However, he couldn’t quite defend 12 in the previous clash which saw India lose the match by a close margin. He is a big match bowler and will prove to be vital for India’s chances tomorrow.

Kuldeep Yadav

The left-arm chinaman bowler bagged a 5 wicket haul in the 1st encounter. He bowled quite brilliantly and the English batters was bamboozled all ends up. However, England batted against him quite brilliantly in the 2nd match. He will still be the main bowler for India in the decider and his performance will be vital going forward as well.

He bagged the crucial wickets of Buttler and Bairstow in the previous clash which got India off to a great start while bowling. However, death bowling woes came to haunt him yet again. Despite bowling quite brilliantly in the 19th over he went for a four and a couple of runs which proved to be decisive in the end. In the absence of Bumrah, he will be the preferred pacer ahead of Siddharth Kaul.

Yuzvendra Chahal

He bowled in the correct areas in the previous match and bagged the crucial wicket of Joe Root. Being a leg-spinner he can go for runs on occasions. However, given his prowess in the wicket-taking department, he is still the 1st choice for India.
