Former Indian National Cricket team opener Virender Sehwag shared her birthday wishes to her wife Aarti Sehwag, who is celebrating her birthday today.

Meanwhile, Sehwag is currently busy with his commenting assignments in the ongoing four-match Test series between India and Australia. He played his first One Day International in 1999 and joined the Indian Test side in 2001. In April 2009, Sehwag became the only Indian to receive the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for his performance in 2008, subsequently becoming the first player of any nationality to retain the award for 2009.

Virender Sehwag and Aarti Sehwag have been leading their married life as an example. The duo often expresses love for each other on the social media and travels around the world. Sehwag and Aarti married each other in 2004, a few years after the dashing opener made his international debut.

On the occasion of her birthday, Sehwag wished his wife with a hilarious message on Twitter along with a picture.

Cricket mein junoon hai , Biwi ji ke sang Sukoon hai ! Happy Birthday @AartiSehwag!,” the tweet read.

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag, regarded as one of the most fearless batsmen to have represented India, played an instrumental role in India’s World Cup triumph in 2011 and several other major series and tournament wins over the years. He played 104 Test matches and 251 ODIs for India scoring 8586 and 8273 runs respectively in the two formats.
