Veteran Indian leg-spinner, Piyush Chawla has said that Hardik Pandya is the best all-rounder in the shorter formats in world cricket. Piyush Chawla rated Hardik Pandya even better than Ben Stokes in the shorter format. Keeping in mind Ben Stokes’ world-cup heroics, Chawla’s comments seem interesting.

Hardik Pandya has gone on to become one of the greatest assets of team India. The flamboyant hitter has evolved as one of the great all-rounders in modern-day cricket, and a lot of credit for it goes to the way his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI) have groomed him.

Piyush Chawla has been one of India’s elite players ever as he has been part of the 2007 T20 World Cup-winning squad and also in the 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squad. A downfall in performance has led to his exit from team India. However, Piyush believes he has still got it and has not announced his retirement so far.
