High-flying New Zealand will have a chance to move to the top of the points table when they take on struggling West Indies in Manchester. With 4 wins from five games, New Zealand are currently second in the points table with nine points. One of their game was washed out. The Black Caps are still unbeaten in the tournament.

West Indies, on the other hand, are struggling to mount a serious challenge in the tournament. Things have not really fallen in place after their impressive 7-wicket win over Pakistan in their tournament-opener. Since then, they have lost to Australia, England and Bangladesh and are now in a delicate position. With just three points from five points, West Indies are reeling at seventh spot in the table. Another defeat will all but seal their hopes of progressing ahead.
