IND vs SL 2017: MS Dhoni Losses His Cool After His Partner Was Distracted by a Cameraman

MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey were involved in a 68 runs partnership for the fourth wicket in the first T20 in Cuttack to guide India to 180/3 in the first innings. However, fans saw an infrequent sight of the veteran India wicket-keeper who lost his cool when Manish Pandey was distracted by a cameraman in front of the sightscreen. Dhoni got so annoyed by the cameraman that he started taking steps towards the sight screen, but the Cameraman was quick to realise his mistake and moved aside.

Dhoni was promoted up the order in the batting line up and justified the move by the skipper to promote him and scored a 22 ball 39 and was involved in a crucial partnership with Pandey who scored 32 runs off 18 balls.

India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series as they defeated Sri Lanka by 93 runs in the first T20I. Indian spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav bamboozled the Sri Lankan batting line-up as Chahal picked up four wickets and Kuldeep Yadav picked up two wickets. Unadkat picked up a wicket while Hardik Pandya picked up three wickets.

Upul Tharanga was the top scorer with 23 runs for the touring side and was unlucky to glove one to the keeper on a ball on the leg side. Chahal was adjudged the man of the match for figures of four for 23 in his quota of four overs.
