India vs Australia 2017: Hosts Announce 15-Man Squad For Three T20Is

India defeated Australia by a huge margin of 4-1 in the one-day series with a seven-wicket win in Nagpur. The hosts were ruthless in the ODI format and did not let the visitors a sniff to make a comeback in the series.

Australia came to India after managing a draw against Bangladesh in the second Test and everyone was hoping for a recap of what happened last time when the Aussies came to India but unfortunately, a different World Champion team showed up, as India outplayed them in every aspect of the game.

The long-tour for Australia is still not over, as now they will play India in the shortest format of the game, T20Is. Steven Smith led-team have already announced their squad and there will be some players coming in with a fresh mindset to rejuvenate the visitors.

India after sealing the number spot in ODI rankings, after the series win has now announced their 15-man squad for the T20 Internationals.

Here’s the Indian team for three-T20Is against Australia:

Ashish Nehra is the only surprise name on the list, who is making his comeback after eight months, he last played for India in a T20I earlier this year in the last T20I vs England in the home series.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik is also included in the squad after getting dropped from the ODI format, while opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan is also back into the team and Ajinkya Rahane who had a decent series with the bat is left out.
