India and Windies will play the second Test match of the ongoing Test series at Hyderabad from 12th October. The number one side had got the better of the depleted Windies by an innings and 272 runs in the first Test match, which was their biggest home win. Thus, India will look to continue their supremacy over the weak Windies side. Meanwhile, we try to decode India’s Predicted Playing XI.

On the other hand, Windies will look to look to come up with better performances. They had lacked the intent in the first Test match and thus they had looked toothless. Therefore, they would like to give a better performance in the second Test match.

Meanwhile, India might look to bring some more changes to their playing XI. Mayank Agarwal has done a fine job in the domestic circuit and it would be a right time to give him his maiden Test cap. Furthermore, India can also rope in Shardul Thakur or Mohammed Siraj in place of Mohammed Shami.

Cheteshwar Pujara had scored a fine 86 in the first innings. Pujara will look to add more to his confidence before jetting off to Australia.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli had scored his 24th century in the previous match. Kohli will look to continue with his dream form. The Indian skipper has ticked the right boxes in his batting.

Ajinkya Rahane

Ajinkya Rahane had got off to a good start. However, Rahane could not carry on after scoring 41 runs. Rahane would like to get big runs under his belt before the Australia tour.

Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant had scored a blistering knock of 92 runs in the previous game against the Windies. Pant is showing his pyrotechnics with the bat and would like to continue with the same. However, Pant will like to improve his performance behind the stumps.

Kuldeep Yadav had scalped his first five-wicket haul in the second innings. It is a great opportunity for Yadav to play along with Ashwin and Jadeja and learn from them in the red ball version.

Umesh Yadav

Pacer Umesh Yadav didn’t have the best of the match against the Windies. Thus, the fast bowler will like to get back his confidence. However, the conditions are not going to be his friend.

Mohammed Siraj
