Rajasthan Royals (RR) will have to continue their winning momentum if they want to keep their hopes alive for the playoffs when they face in-form Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on May 11 (Friday).

While CSK are eyeing the top spot, on the other side, Rajasthan as a unit is fighting to keep their hopes alive for the ongoing Indian Premier League’s (IPL) season eleven.

Talking about the Royals, it has been a story of underperformances so far, particularly from the big guns. The likes of Ben Stokes, Jaydev Unadkat have failed to live up to the expectations.

However, the likes of Jos Buttler, Rahane, Sanju Samson and Krishnappa Gowtham have been successful in patches. They will have to put their act together and perform on a consistent basis.

On the other hand, Chennai scripted a historic return after two-year hiatus. They are currently in the second spot and will be fresh from a much-required break.

Moreover, the red-hot form of skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also boost the Chennai set up. Further, the Super Kings have played as a team and will look to continue with the job.

It will be a homecoming for Shane Watson, who will be playing in front of the Jaipur crowd for the first time as a rival.

Deepak Chahar, who belongs from Rajasthan is also set to return if he is fully fit.

Weather Forecast:

As per AccuWeather, there are no chances of rain throughout the day. However, the temperature will hover around 33-degrees Celsius to 37-degree Celsius during the course of the match.

Moreover, the humidity is likely to be on the lower side with the number ranging between 12 to 19 percent. A fair amount of cloud cover might be there, but they are no possibility of curtailing the game time.

The dew might come into play in the latter stages of the game. As a result, both the captains will look to bowl first after winning the toss.
