Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Rashid Khan and England women team all-rounder Danielle Wyatt, on Sunday (May 6), were engaged in a conversation on micro-blogging website Twitter.

The conversation began when Hyderabad’s official Twitter handle congratulated teenage spinner Rashid following remarkable effort against Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Daredevils (DD).

Wyatt, who follows the Indian Premier League(IPL) closely, was quick to reply to the tweet by congratulating Rashid

Danielle tweeted:

“Wizard ??????”

Rashid did not waste much time in returning the favour. The Afghan sensation thanked the promising cricketer before wishing her and Sarah Taylor luck for the upcoming season with Sussex.

“Thank you. GOOD LUCK to you @Danni_Wyatt and @Sarah_Taylor30 for the first game of season for @SussexCCC Tomorrow,????”  replied Rashid.

The conversation did not end there as Wyatt hoped to see the spinner watching her team soon. Sussex has signed up the Rashid as their overseas signing for this summer’s Vitality Blast.

“Thanks Rash ? Not long until you’ll be stood watching us with a cuppa tea ???,” she tweeted.

Coming to the match, Rashid once again starred with the ball as the Sunrisers thrashed Delhi by seven wickets to register their seventh win of the season eleven.

The leg-spinner received the Man of the Match award for his spell of two for 23. It was his fifth Man of the Match award in the  IPL and third of the ongoing season.

Rashid Khan now has the most number of Man of the Match awards since the start of last season (2017).

Bowling first, the Kane Williamson-led side restricted Daredevils to 163 for five despite conceding 95 runs in the first 10 overs.

Prominent face Prithvi Shaw top-scored for Delhi, scoring 65 to register his second fifty of the season.

In reply, Sunrisers reached home with a ball to spare.  Alex Hales and Shikhar Dhawan added 77 runs for the first wicket before Delhi bowlers dismissed them in quick succession – to put some pressure back on the hosts.

However, Williamson remained till the end and was well supported by Yusuf Pathan, as the duo took the team home convincingly.
