Jasprit Bumrah Reveals His New Year Pledge After Making Memories In 2019

Pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has had another eventful year of international cricket despite struggling with injuries in the last few months. After playing a vital role during India’s first-ever Test series win down under, Bumrah finished as the highest wicket-taker for his country during the ICC World Cup 2019 where the Men in Blues bowed out from the semifinals. With everyone stepping to 2020 with new year’s resolution, the fast bowler has also revealed his pledge.

December is that part of the year when everyone tries to retrospect on the entire year and sets new goals for another year which will follow. Similarly, Jasprit Bumrah has also revealed his new year resolutions after making memories throughout 2019. The cricketer from Gujarat has reached the top in his short international career and also became the face of India’s fast bowling unit.

Besides, Bumrah also played a significant role as Mumbai Indians lifted their fourth Indian Premier League trophy beating Chennai Super Kings in the final. Jasprit Bumrah also claimed a hat-trick against West Indies in the Test series to become only the third Indian to claim the feat.

“2019 has been a year of accomplishments, learning, hard work and making memories, on the field and off it too. And on the last day of the year, I’m looking forward to everything that 2020 has to offer!” Jasprit Bumrah tweeted.

Jasprit Bumrah set to make a comeback

Meanwhile, the young fast bowler after struggling with injuries in the last few months is all set to return to action. The All India National Selection Committee has picked Bumrah for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka followed by the three-match ODI series against Australia. With the ICC T20 World Cup lined up later in 2020, Bumrah will look to reclaim his best form soon and lead India’s pace attack from the front.
