New Zealand star Jimmy Neesham is arguably the funniest cricketer when it comes to making others laugh on social media. No matter what the situation is, Jimmy Neesham just comes up with a tweet that leaves his fans in stitches. He came up with something similar on Friday after coping a blow on his face while playing against India A.

Jimmy Neesham had a hilarious advice for everyone after his reverse shot went horribly wrong. While playing the shot during the second one-day game between New Zealand A and India A, the left-handed batsman ended up injuring himself. Later after the game, the 29-year old posted a picture on social media showing the cut on his own face.

And as usual, he captioned the picture with a hilarious comment, writing:

“Got fixed up good today! Lesson: don’t reverse sweep up into your own face.”

The incident took place in the 31st over of the game when Jimmy Neesham got hit on the grille of his helmet while attempting a reverse sweep off Krunal Pandya. Neesham was attended by a physio on the field after which he walked off the field.

Here is a clip of that incident:

Jimmy Neesham returned later on after George Worker’s got dismissed after playing an innings of 144-ball 135 and stayed unbeaten on 33 off 31 to help New Zealand post 296 for 7 in 50 overs. The hosts went on to win the game by 29 runs to draw level in the three-match series after losing the series-opener by five wickets.

The ace allrounder made a mark with the ball too as he picked up crucial wickets of Suryakumar Yadav and Vijay Shankar. He finished the game with impressive figures of 2 for 24 as India A finished on 266 for 9. The third and final game will take place on Sunday.
