Kedar Jadhav credits MS Dhoni for his transformation as an allrounder

India’s finisher, Kedar Jadhav, holds MS Dhoni responsible for his evolution as an all-rounder in the Indian side. The Maharashtra cricketer’s prowess as a bowler was found out at the international stage with his deceptive off-spinners.

The short-statured player uses his height to deliver the bowl at lower trajectory with a side-arm action. Jadhav’s deliveries bamboozled even the best of batsmen from top teams.

Furthermore, Jadhav provides a cushion for skipper Kohli by bowling some key overs in the middle to cover-up for the fifth bowler. Kedar Jadhav will provide his services for MS Dhoni for Chennai Superkings in the upcoming season of IPL.

“I firmly believe that I became a different player after Dhoni Bhai asked me to bowl in international cricket. I hadn’t even dreamt until then that I could bowl and pick wickets for India,” claimed Jadhav according to CSK website.

In recent times, Jadhav holds the reputation of bowling with the golden arm, having a knack of breaking partnerships. In his 40-match old ODI career, Jadhav has already clinched 16 wickets with a neat economy of 5.18.

“I would have done anything to be a part of Chennai Super Kings. To me, CSK is (MS) Dhoni bhai on the field and I hope to play the best cricket of my life with this team,” added the 32-year old.

Kedar’s bid in the auction surprised many earlier this year. Former RCB star, Jadhav, went for a price of INR 7.8 crores during the auctions.

“Over the last decade, CSK has been one of the top teams in IPL. So being a part of this team I am sure I will give my best in every game and also learn more from Dhoni Bhai on how to read a situation and adapt quickly,” Kedhar Jadhav said.

Jadhav will now join the likes of Raina, Bravo, Jadeja, Du Plessis, Mark Wood, and several other stars, donning the yellows of the Chennai based franchise.

“Playing under him for CSK I am sure I will express myself in ways that I have never done before as his presence gives me immense confidence,” concluded Jadhav.
