Kerala Floods: PSL Team Owner Javed Afridi Donates Tents, Medical Equipment

Another kind-hearted Pakistani person offers his helping hand to Kerala people regarding the floods in the state. Earlier, Shahid Afridi donated for Kerala flood victims, and now, the Peshawar Zalmi owner in the PSL, Javed Afridi donated for the victims.

Currently, Kerala is facing all kinds of trouble in the world. They have been struck with the significant flood flow that left people homeless. A few of them lost their lives while few people are doing their best to overcomes the issues.

For the first time in history, 27 dams in the state had to get open. Never before had Kerala witnessed such a calamity of that scale. In the fight against the flood, the state management is doing their best to avoid the odds.

Javed Afridi extends his support to Kerala victims –

Though there are many equations between India and Pakistan, the kind-hearted souls in Pakistan are giving their helping hands during the wrong time of things.

They have received huge praise from the fans as well. Afridi reckoned they would be giving their support through his foundation and on behalf of their team. Javed Afridi is donating 5000 Tents and sending medical equipment.

Javed Afridi tweeted saying ”There is a fresh new air in Pakistan but we are hearing some sad news from Kerala, India.”

“Millions have been displaced by floods and from Peshawar Zalmi and Zalmi foundation, we will like to donate 5000 tents and basic medical supplies for Kerala flood victims.”

Coming to Peshawar Zalmi’s performance in the Pakistan Super League, they are the runner-up of PSL 2018 and won the title in 2017 edition. In the inaugural season, they reached playoffs.

Javed Afridi’s Peshawar Zalmi had enjoyed quite a success in Pakistan Super League. Afridi also own a team named Benoni Zalmi in the imminent T20 Global T20 cup.
