MS Dhoni might be aggressive but he knows how to be safe, he is not vocal like Virat Kohli said former national selector Gangan Khoda. Dhoni has garnered a lot of praise for his ability to keep calm and stay composed in testing situations. However, Khoda, spoke about the aggressive side of Dhoni.

MS Dhoni understands the game well. He knows the strength of the side and backs his players accordingly. He does not takes any kind of frivolous decisions and likes to maintain his calm. It is due to these qualities Dhoni comes up as one of the most calm and composed character on the cricket field.

However, Khoda said that it is not that Dhoni is not aggressive. He is also safe and as a captain, you should know how to be so. Speaking about the aggression Kohli contains, he said that the India captain is gradually learning how to be safe.

“They say Virat Kohli is very aggressive, but MS Dhoni is not. I don’t believe in this. Aggression is not being vocal. MS Dhoni was aggressive and safe. You have to be safe as a captain,” former National Selector Gagan Khoda told Sportskeeda.

“Virat Kohli is aggressive and learning how to be safe. He’s learning very quickly. The only difference is that MS Dhoni is not vocal but he is equally aggressive.”
