Mumbai Indians Brutally Troll Ravichandran Ashwin After His Failed Attempt To Mankad Krunal Pandya

Mumbai Indians have brutally trolled Ravichandran Ashwin after his futile attempt to ‘Mankad’ Krunal Pandya in the ongoing first Qualifier of IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Krunal was yet to face a single delivery and had just arrived at the crease after the dismissal of Kieron Pollard when the off-spinner tried to send him back to the pavilion by running him out at the non-striker’s end. The mode of dismissal is well within the laws of the game but is widely considered against the spirit of the play.

The incident took place in the 13th over of Mumbai’s innings. After dismissing Kieron Pollard for a duck on the second ball of the over, the Delhi Capitals star pulled up from his run-up to dislodge the bails before noticing that Krunal Pandya’s bat was inside the crease.

And it didn’t take Mumbai Indians long to troll Ravichandran Ashwin. Moments after the incident took place, Mumbai Indians posted a hilarious Krunal Pandya GIF to have some fun at the expense of the off-spinner.

Talking about the game, Mumbai Indians have piled up  a mammoth total of 200 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs. Ishan Kishan top-scored for the team, scoring an unbeaten 55 while Suryakumar Yadav scored 51. Hardik Pandya provided the finishing touch by slamming an unbeaten 37 off just 14 balls with the help of five sixes.

The winner of this game will make it to the final while the losing team will lock horns against the winner of the Eliminator between Royal Challengers Bangalore and SunRisers Hyderabad for a place in the final. Mumbai Indians are chasing their fifth IPL title while Delhi are eyeing their first.
