The phrase quarantine partner has become the talk of the town thanks to people being isolated to their homes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. In the last few days, a number of celebrities have revealed the names of their quarantine partners and former India opener Virender Sehwag has also done the same.

And one can say that his revelation is bound to leave many surprised. Virender Sehwag shared a great rapport with Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar as well as Gautam Gambhir. However, he has not named any of them while revealing two names as his preferred quarantine partners.

With not much to do nowadays, Virender Sehwag, on Thursday, took to Instagram as he conducted a live interaction with his fans and followers on the social media platform. During the interactions, he left his fans surprised with his pick for his quarantine partners.

While many predicted that he would name one among Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Gautam Gambhir as his partner, he went on to drop a major surprise. Instead, the former India batsman named former pacer Zaheer Khan and ex-batsman Ajay Jadeja as his partners.

Sehwag also revealed that he is spending quality time with his kids by playing play stations.

“They can’t beat me on field in any sports and that is why they are inviting me for a PS4 game lately, they want to beat me there and tease me later,” Sehwag was quoted as saying by India Today.

Meanwhile, all the major international and domestic fixtures are off at the moment as cricket boards around the globe have come forward to prioritise safety over the game.

Earlier this month, the BCCI called off the three-match ODI series against South Africa after initially deciding to hold the last two games behind closed doors. The BCCI have also suspended the IPL till April 15 and reports suggest that there is a big chance, the tournament might get cancelled altogether this year.

The likes of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and other cricket countries have also called off their international and domestic fixtures.
