Others Defend A Good Ball But Virat Kohli Sledges You For That, Says Al-Amin Hossain

Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain has revealed an interesting and at the same time hilarious fact about India skipper Virat Kohli. The right-arm pacer has revealed that unlike other batsmen, Virat Kohli does not appreciate a bowler for bowling a dot ball and instead sledges the bowler.

Al Amin Hossain claimed that by sledging the bowlers, Kohli tries to put pressure on his opponents.Well, when it comes to sledging, there are very few in the current game who are as good as the India skipper. Arguably the best batsman in the world right now, Kohli is perhaps the most animated character on the cricket field.

Kohli has had a series of verbal tussles on the cricketing field with the opposition players. Time and again, he has also said that verbal exchanges fire him up to deliver on the field.

Speaking on a Facebook Live session of Bangladesh-based Cricfrenzy on Saturday, Al Amin Hossain said: “Virat Kohli will sledge you every time you bowl a dot ball to him. He uses slang words, which I cannot say in front of an audience. He tries to create pressure on the bowler, mentally disturb him.”

“I have bowled to Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, the other great batsmen in the world. None of them are like this. They defend when you bowl a good ball, they don’t say anything. Kohli is not like that, he will sledge you in return,” he added.

Earlier, another Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain had also recalled some heated moments with Virat Kohli over the years, including those of the U19 days.

“He used to do a lot of sledging then. Maybe he does it a little less for the national team. We all know how abusive he was in the U19 days,” Rubel had said in a Facebook Live conversation with Tamim Iqbal.

“That was the toughest situation I remember. Kohli and Dhoni were batting. It was difficult to do what I wanted to do against them,” he added.
