Ravi Shastri Wishes Newlyweds Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were flooded with congratulatory messages, including now Ravi Shastri, ever since they took to Twitter on Monday (December 11) to share the big news of their wedding along with a message for their fans and loved ones.

Both Kohli and Anushka posted messages on Twitter which read:

“Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you.This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

Since then, ‘Virushka’, as they are fondly called by the fans, has become the talk of the town. Eminent personalities from the film fraternity, sports and fans came together to collectively wish the couple a happy married life. Well, the latest to join the list is none other than Team India head coach Ravi Shastri.

Ravi Shastri took a while to wish the newlyweds as he posted his message four days after the couple tied the knot in Italy.

Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri along with the whole team will get a chance to wish the skipper and his wife when the newlyweds throw a reception later this month. The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26. After that, the Bollywood actress will be accompanying Kohli to South Africa where India will take on the Proteas in a full fledged series.
