India star Rohit Sharma has dropped yet another big hint that not all is well inside the Indian dressing room. The rumours of unrest in the team first surfaced after the team’s exit from the World Cup a couple of months ago and are yet to die down. The rumouors suggested that not all is well between Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli.

The dressing room was reportedly divided into two halves with one half supporting Rohit Sharma and the other Kohli. Things looked normal after Kohli publicly rubbished the rumours. Before departing for West Indies, Kohli had said that all was well. However, the recent turn of events have suggested otherwise.

As soon as India benched Rohit Sharma for the first Test against West Indies, many started speculating that Kohli and the limited-overs vice-captain are perhaps not on good terms at the moment. The reason for those apprehensions were obvious. Rohit has been in superb form at the moment. He scored five centuries in the World Cup. He had also scored an impressive fifty at Melbourne in his last Test innings.

However, Kohli decided to drop Rohit and persisted with KL Rahul who has been out of form in Tests for over a year now. Rahul failed to do well in the first Test and while everyone was expecting Rohit to play the ongoing second Test, Rahul was preferred again.

Rohit has now made his displeasure clear by liking a social media post, criticising India’s decision to not include Rohit and prefer Rahul. The India star’s action has more or less made it clear that he is not very fine with the team’s decision.

Rahul, meanwhile, failed to get going in the first innings of the ongoing second Test too. He was out for just 13.
