Rohit Sharma Reveals the Name of his New-Born Daughter

India’s limited over vice-captain Rohit Sharma has revealed the name of his new-born daughter. Rohit has named her daughter as Samaira. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh were blessed with the baby girl on 31st December 2018. Thus, Rohit Sharma flew back to India to be with his wife and daughter.

Rohit Sharma had scored an unbeaten knock of 63 runs in the first innings of the third Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. However, he could not be part of the New Year Test as he had to come back home due to the birth of his child.

Rohit will play the ODI series.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma took to his Twitter account to reveal the name of his daughter. Rohit shared the picture of his family and also shared the song, ‘Girls like you’, which is sung by Maroon 5 band.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma will join back the squad on January 8 to be part of the three-match ODI series. Rohit Sharma could not play the second Test match at Perth as he was injured. He was part of the first Test match at Adelaide and made 38 runs in the first innings.

Thus, Rohit showed the right promise to deliver the goods in the red ball version. Rohit has been instrumental in the success of the limited overs format and would like to continue with the same.

The first ODI will take place at Sydney on January 12. India has all but clinched their maiden Test series in Australia and would look to carry the impetus in the ODI series.
