Suresh Raina Becomes First Indian Batsman to Complete 8000 T20 Runs

India’s southpaw batsman Suresh Raina has completed 8000 T20 runs in the shortest format of the game. Thus, the talisman batsman became the first Indian batsman to get to 8000 T20 runs. In fact, Raina is the highest run-getter in the Indian Premier League. Raina has amassed 4985 runs in 176 IPL matches at an average of 34.37. The left-hander has scored 35 fifties and one hundred in the extravagant T20 tourney.

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina is currently playing for his state team Uttar Pradesh in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Raina scored only 12 runs from 18 balls in the Round Four match against Puducherry. Consequently, he was able to reach his personal milestone during the course of the innings.
