New Zealand beat India in a thriller at Manchester:

In the first semi-final at the Old Trafford in Manchester, New Zealand won the heart-throbbing thriller by 18 runs despite a courageous fightback from Ravindra Jadeja 77 (59) and MS Dhoni 50 (72). Meanwhile, the game resumed on a reserve day which saw them ending up on scoring 239 for eight in 50 overs.

In response, India were all out for 221 in 49.3 overs.
