Of late, crime and corruption have been the biggest boons in India. The game of cricket isn’t an exception, as the officials in the respective boards are committing themselves to be a part of false scenarios. The latest to end their careers by involving in such stuff are the members of Jharkhand Cricket, who selected players by receiving cash.

Md Wasim and Amalesh Kumar were caught red-handedly in a sting operation performed by a Hindi News Channel. Just after the news creating enough stir in the country, the respective officials took the measures to fix the flaw in the board.

He also added that a probe will be made on the culprits. And also, the details will be out publicly. Debashish quoted that the scenes which are being flashed on the Television are edited and added that he will reveal once he gets the perfect evidence.

“Such behaviour of a life member of JSCA, honorary secretary of RDCA and LDCA is a misconduct of serious nature. Taking cognizance of it, JSCA has suspended both of them. It was done with immediate effect from all their posts and memberships cancelled,” said JSCA secretary Debashish Chakraborty in an official statement.

“A three-member committee has also been constituted for further probe. We have asked the inquiry team to submit their report latest by March 1. There is a system for selection of teams. No single person can influence it. However, the allegations are serious. JSCA would take strongest action after proper probe,” he added.

Well, it is surprising to see such poor stuff from the experienced officials of the JSCA. Most probably, they will never get the re-entry into the board if the probe results in any negative way.
