Indian captain and vice-captain, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, recently took part in the ‘I For India’ campaign to raise funds to combat the coronavirus pandemic in the country. The COVID-19 outbreak has brought the world to a standstill. It seems the world as a whole has gone into isolation and things keep worsening with days passing by. However, cricketers are doing their bit for the society and the Indian captain Virat Kohli is leading from the front.

As part of the initiative by ‘I For India’, actors, musicians, singers, sportspersons and business leaders came together to entertain people from their homes in a bid to help the COVID-19 pandemic cause. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Sani Mirza were the sportspersons to join the movement. The proceeds from the concert will go to the India COVID Response Fund set up by GiveIndia, a donation platform.
