Broad came up with his act on day three of the ongoing third Ashes Test in Leeds. Before the start of the game, England had received a big boost as their nemesis Steve Smith was out of the game due to concussion. However, Smith’s replacement Marnus Labuschagne did not give any respite to England.

So far, he has scored three fifties in as many innings. He started day three on 53 when a short ball from Stuart Broad hit him on his helmet and went for a four behind the stumps. Labuschagne had tried to hook the ball but failed to make any contact whatsoever.

The umpire signalled it as a boundary assuming it came off the Australian’s bat, taking his score to 60*. But the replays showed the clear picture as the batsman had not made any contact with the ball. Upon seeing the replay, Stuart Broad hilariously bent towards stump mic and shouted “Could you take those four runs off please?” leaving the commentators in stitch. He then asked the on-field umpire to reverse the decision and Joe Wilson did correct his decision.
