Kuldeep Sen will make his international debut on Sunday when India bats first against Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

After an outstanding season with RR in the Indian Premier League 2022, Kuldeep Sen was rewarded for his consistency.

This bowler from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, who made his IPL debut with Rajasthan Royals this season, appears to be having a breakout year in 2022. After a productive debut season with the Royals, where he finished with 8 wickets, Kuldeep went on to play for his state team against Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy final, where they won and became the first-ever winners.

The young man later played for the Rest of India against Saurashtra in the Irani Cup, where his three-wicket haul helped ROI win by an 8-wicket margin. Additionally, he participated in the Asia Cup this year in the UAE as a net bowler for India.

Kuldeep Sen is named in India’s playing XI:

Kuldeep Sen has been picked to India’s playing XI for the first ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka. On Sunday, India will play Bangladesh in the first of three one-day internationals. The Madhya Pradesh pacer was called up to replace Yash Dayal in the team.

India has chosen to play five only batsmen and six bowling options for the match. The other two bowling possibilities are two spinning all-rounders Washington Sundar and Shahbaz Ahmed, along with pacers Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Sen.

Team India will try to get back on track when they play Bangladesh in the first of three ODIs on Sunday (December 4) at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka after losing the ODI series to New Zealand in their own backyard. Not to mention, India will face Bangladesh with a complete set of players.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul, among others, have returned to the team. One major setback for India is that their star pacer Mohammed Shami will miss the entire series owing to a shoulder problem that became apparent the day before the game. Umran Malik has taken his place at this time.

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Sen
