The LSG vs PBKS IPL 2024 match will be played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The match starts at 7.30 pm IST on Saturday. This is the only game to be played on the day. The match against Punjab Kings will be the first for Lucknow Super Giants at home at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

LSG are heading into this team as the bottom-placed team in the points table. They lost their season opener against Rajasthan Royals. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, are placed fifth with one win and one loss. They won their first game against Delhi Capitals but lost to RCB.

Lucknow Super Giants had problems playing at home last season. They won three and lost three games respectively. The pitch had an excessive turn and became a talking point throughout the campaign. For Punjab Kings, the challenge will be to make the playoffs first and then garner hopes of winning the IPL title. They played the IPL final only once in 2014 and lost out to KKR. Since then they have been consistently finishing sixth or below.

Given that the LSG vs PBKS match will be played in Lucknow, the pitch will have all the focus. We saw a lot of turn there last year and what kind of pitch is dished out will be an interesting observation. PBKS failed to defend 177 against RCB while LSG failed to chase 194 against Rajasthan Royals.
