Fans on Twitter reacted after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) posted a massive total of 277 runs against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match between the teams is taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were asked to bat first and they made sure that they made Mumbai Indians pay for their decision. Travis Head, who was playing his first match in the IPL 2024, made an immediate impact as he took bowlers to cleaners right from the start.

Travis Head at the top made a mockery of the Mumbai Indians bowling lineup. He brought up his half-century in just 18 balls and made sure that he put pressure on the opposition. Despite Mayank Agarwal losing his wicket early, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were off to a flying start.

After Travis Head got out, Abhishek Sharma stole the limelight with his brutal innings. He batted even better than the opening batter and scored his half-century in just 16 balls, which is the fastest by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Once Head and Sharma were back in the hut, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen made sure that they did no further damage. The duo put together an unbeaten 116-run partnership and took their team to a massive total at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

While Klaasen remained unbeaten at 80 runs off 34 balls, Markande scored 42* off 28 balls. Based on the powerful batting performance, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a gigantic total of 277 runs on the board. This is the highest-ever total in the history of the Indian Premier League, surpassing Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s total of 263 runs.
