Revealed - Who are the impact players nominated by KKR and RR for game 31 of IPL 2024

Table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be facing each other in the 31st match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The KKR vs RR match is scheduled to be played at the Eden Gardens tonight.

While KKR are currently occupying the second spot in the points table, RR are at the top. Both teams have lost only one game so far and would be looking to maintain the same record tonight. While RR have won five of their first six games, KKR have won four of their five games.

A win for KKR tonight will take them to the top of the points table while another win for RR would further bolster their chances of making it to the playoffs.

Both teams are coming into this game on the back of wins. In their last game, KKR beat Lucknow Super Giants at home. The two-time IPL champions thrashed the Lucknow-based outfit by eight wickets. After restricting LSG to 161, KKR chased down the total inside 16 overs by losing only a couple of wickets.

On the other hand, RR are coming into this game after a win over Punjab Kings. The RR bowlers did well to restrict PBKS to 147 before the batters took the team over the line although it was not a comfortable win by any stretch.

RR have won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson said: "We would like to bowl first. Might be better to chase on this. Very much excited to be back in Eden Gardens, there's a great vibe in the stadium. Jos and Ash are available for this game, so they are coming back."

KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said: "Would have loved to bowl as well based on the last game, on how the ball moved around. Whenever he (Narine) comes in, he is hard to read and he's got that poker face all throughout, we want him to perform him the way he has. We are playing the same team."
