The second-leg of the match between MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore was hosted at MCA Stadium in Pune.

Virat Kohli and his men appeared determined to avenge their defeat back home in Bangalore where they lost even after posting a mammoth 200+ score.

Again, they were made to bat first, as the likes of Parthiv Patel and Brendon McCullum took the guard at the crease. After the loss of captain Virat Kohli, dangerous AB de Villiers replaced the marquee player in the middle.

However, De Villiers making a comeback after being on sidelines did not trouble CSK much, as he tried to reverse-sweep Harbhajan Singh on the fourth ball he faced.

The South African misread the ball and as a result, missed his bat on its way to MS Dhoni. Renowned for his lightning-quick stumping, Dhoni took it as an opportunity to catch ABD off guard, who was way outside the crease, fetching for the ball.

AB was so far down the crease that he never made it back. As a result, RCB’s marquee middle-order batsman had to make his way back to the dugout, leaving the visitors in the doldrums.
