If Virat Kohli was himself setting the dance floor on fire in his wedding reception, how can one expect anyone to remain seated without shaking their legs? In fact, Kohli was so carried away while dancing that he did not even leave his mother.
Newly-wedded Kohli and Anushka held the first of their two wedding receptions at the Taj Diplomatic Enclave in New Delhi on Thursday (December 21). The lavish function was attended by some eminent personalities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shikhar Dhawan, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina. The function in the capital city was looking nothing less than a royal ceremony, but it soon turned into a wild party as led by Kohli himself, all the guests took to the dance floor.

Kohli, whose love for dancing is well known, did not shy away from dancing his heart out in his reception. Several videos of Kohli’s dancing in the reception have already gone viral and the latest to take the internet by storm is the one in which the batting star could be seen inviting his mother on the dance floor in an adorable manner.

Meanwhile, Kohli and Anushka will now throw another reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on 26th December. Following that, Kohli will set his sights on the cricket field as Team India is gearing up for the challenging tour of South Africa that will get underway next month with the three-match Test series. The Test series will be followed by six One-Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.

Kohli’s record as captain has been phenomenal as he is yet to lose a series as captain and will be keen to extend the winning run against the Proteas.
