Pakistan’s international cricket appearances have been on a roller-coaster for a long time, but with the beginnings of Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan, the team is starting to emerge as a genuine threat in international cricket, and it was thanks to a combined effort that Pakistan managed to reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup last year.

Pakistan lost the Test and T20I series against Australia in their most recent assignment but won the one-day internationals 2-1. Hasan Ali, the pacer, was one name that upset home fans because of his lackluster performances.

‘I am a fighter and will make a strong comeback’: Hasan Ali

Hasan took two wickets in the two Tests but was wicketless in the ODIs and T20Is. The pace bowler has been reprimanded for his latest run of poor form, and while Hasan admits that his recent performances have been disappointing, the 27-year-old is hopeful of making a good recovery.

“Performances are the only way to keep the critics at bay. I didn’t get any wickets in the home series against Australia, but that doesn’t mean my career is over; I’m a fighter who will make a good comeback ” Hasan stated in his opinion.

“I’ve done well across the board. Since my debut, if not even the first, I have been the second-best bowler on the national squad. Babar Azam understands my ability to fight, which is why he backs me up.”

“A player cannot accomplish in every match or series; many great batsmen in the past have come under criticism during their careers; hard work and talent are in my hands; I will attempt to rectify my flaws ” Hasan Ali Added.

Hasan received a lot of backlash on social media following his dropped catch of Matthew Wade in the T20 World Cup semi-final.
