Gujarat Titans face CSK in match 59 of IPL 2024 at their home ground at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, May 10. They face a must-win situation in their remaining three matches.

Gujarat Titans have lost seven games and won just four this season so farThey have lost back-to-back games twice against the same opposition against Delhi Capitals and RCB. Two back-to-back defeats against RCB have affected their NRR in a big way.

The side will get to 14 points max if they win all their remaining games which might not be enough to see them to the playoffs. The absence of Mohammed Shami has affected their bowling attack immensely. With the bat, Shubma Gill has not scored 100 runs in the last five innings this has been another major concern.

In these last three games, a lot of things need to go right for the Gujarat Titans who are struggling at the moment. After losing back-to-back games against RCB, they might think about tweaking the playing combination a bit

Shubman Gill (C)

Gill will continue to open the batting for the Gujarat Titans. He scored two off seven balls in the last match against RCB. He has not scored even 100 runs in his last five innings taken together

Wriddhiman Saha (WK)

Saha as the keeper-batter has been hugely disappointing for Gujarat Titans. He scored just one off seven balls last game and just 136 runs this season without a fifty.

Sai Sudharsan

The southpaw has been GT's consistent run-getter this season scoring 424 runs in 11 games at an average of 42.40. Unfortunately, he scored just six in the last game.

Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan will slot in at four. He is getting too much higher in the batting lineup for GT. He was unfortunately run out by Virat Kohli in the last game by 37. He will continue to bat at four.

David Miller

Miller will slot in at five. He needs to play a defining innings for GT against CSK. He scored 481 runs for them in their title-winning season in 2022 and just 194 runs this season.

Rahul Tewatia

Tewatia will slot in at six. He has been playing these important cameos for his side. He scored a crucial 35 off 21 balls for his side in the last game. He too has an important role in the match.

Rashid Khan

Rashid will slot in at seven. He helped GT win a match with the bat this season against RR. However, he has been well below par with the ball taking just 8 wickets from 11 games. He is three shy of 150 IPL wickets.

Mohit Sharma

Mohit will lead the bowling attack for GT. He has been expensive this season and has taken just 10 wickets from 11 games and given away almost 400 runs. He went for 32 off his two overs in the last game.

Joshua Little

The Irish left-arm pacer Josh Little should be the second seamer in the XI. He took 4/44 in the last game and used the bouncer well to get his wickets. He should be given another game.

Noor Ahmad

Afghan spinner Noor Ahmad will slot in at 10. He picked up 2/23 in the last match against RCB. He took 16 wickets last year and has taken 8 so far this year.

Sai Kishore / Umesh Yadav

Sai Kishore can be the third spinner in the side and can conclude the XI for the Gujarat Titans for this crucial game against CSK. Umesh Yadav with his experience can be another good addition to the side.

Impact Sub: Sandeep Warrier

Sandeep Warrier can be a good option for the Impact Sub by Gujarat Titans for this game. He can swing the ball and be effective in the powerplay. The pacer has picked up five wickets from four games this season.
