Rahul is one of the top T20 players from India and he has an excellent record in the format. He was dismissed by a peach of a delivery from the left-arm seamer Shaheen Afridi in the previous game.

KL Rahul will have a tough time in the first few overs against New Zealand with two excellent swing bowlers but he can play a big inning once he gets over it. His shot-making abilities are a big advantage to the Indian team and he can be very devastating for the opponents once he gets in.

Suryakumar Yadav:

Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t been in the best of forms off late since the IPL 2021 UAE phase and his place in the side has been a big question mark with the in-form Ishan Kishan sitting out. However, he will need some runs under his belt and this will be the best time for him to make a mark in the tournament.

He started off well in the previous game against Pakistan but perished for just 11 runs.
