IRE vs ZIM Match Prediction, Zimbabwe tour of Ireland- 3rd T20I. The Third T20 international between Ireland and Zimbabwe will be played on Wednesday at Bready Cricket Club Ground. Zimbabwe won the first game by 3 runs in Dublin. Ireland came back strongly in the second T20 international, registering a 7-wicket win. The series is currently leveled at 1-1 with three games left to be played.

Zimbabwe exhibited a below-par batting performance in the first T20 international as they could manage 117 runs in the first. Some exceptional bowling from performers from Ireland bowlers denied Zimbabwe of solid starts.

They lost both the openers inside the first three overs of the innings. Regis Chakabva held firm, however, and produced a solid 47-run knock off just 28 balls. However, he didn’t get a lot of support from other batsmen.  Dion Myers got out on 10, while Skipper Erwin scored just 17 runs.

At the end of the first innings, Ireland were expected to chase down the total easily. However, they made a mockery of the total. The batsmen were guilty of throwing away their wickets and Ireland, in the end, fell short of three runs as they could manage 114 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

In the second match, Zimbabwe showcased a much better batting performance. Zimbabwe scored a competitive 152-run total in the first innings with Shuma top-scoring with 46 off 27 balls. Ryan Burl scored 37 off 33 balls. Getkate was the pick of the bowlers for Ireland, picking 3 for 20 in 4 overs.

Ireland, however, made sure they chased down the total this time around. Kevin O Brien and Paul Sterling took the onus upon themselves and led the way with the bat. O Brien scored 60 runs off 41 balls, while Sterling amassed 37 off 29 deliveries. The duo made the chase easy for the other batsmen to follow. George Dockrell, later, ensured he stayed unbeaten on 33 off 29 balls to guide the team to a 7 wicket win in the end.
