PAK vs ENG: ‘We Haven’t Seen Pitches As Flat As Pakistan’- Nasser Hussain Launches Massive Attack On PCB After England Whitewash. Nasser Hussain praised England’s 3-0 hammering of Pakistan in the three-match Test series. According to the former England captain, the visitors showed strong purpose throughout the three Tests and were rewarded for it.

England’s astonishing victory is the first time Pakistan has been whitewashed in a Test series at home. On Tuesday, December 20, the English sealed a remarkable series win by defeating Pakistan by eight wickets in the third and final Test in Karachi.

Nasser Hussain gave high admiration to the entire team, including captain Ben Stokes, in his reflections on England’s outstanding performance. He claimed in an interview with Sky Sports that the visiting team was remarkable in bowling out Pakistan in all three Test matches.

“We haven’t seen many pitches as flat as these in a very long time. It didn’t spin today, not even this one (in Karachi). Despite Day 4. Did any of the proposals actually accomplish anything? We barely slightly increased the pressure since the odd one spun” Nasser Hussainremarked.

“For them (England) to get 20 wickets three times in a row and win three games while getting the rate of runs, to buy them time to get 20 wickets, was remarkable. After Rawalpindi, we were like, this is going to turn.”

“First Test in Rawalpindi set the tone for the series”: Nasser Hussain

Nasser Hussain believes England’s 500-plus runs in 75 overs on Day 1 of the first Test in Rawalpindi set the tone for the series.

“They won the Test because of that. On that pitch, I don’t think any other team or skipper would have won. I don’t think it would have been feasible without Stokes in that batting lineup, and it set the tone for the remainder of the tour.”

“Pakistan simply could not keep up. 3-0 on these pitches and without Stuart) Broad and James Anderson on this one (Karachi); they haven’t won without Broad and Anderson in a long time. It demonstrates the depth of English cricket, especially with a Rehan Ahmed coming in. On this tour, everything they’ve touched has turned to gold” Nasser Hussain remarked.

James Anderson missed the third Test in Karachi while Stuart Broad was rested for the Pakistan tour. Leg-spinner Ahmed made history by being the first male Test cricketer to ever take five wickets in his debut at the age of 19, playing for England.
