Punjab Kings (PBKS) keeper-batter Jitesh Sharma's torrid run with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 continued. The right-hander bagged another low in the league in the game against Gujarat Titans, underway at the Mullanpur in Chandigarh.

Jitesh Sharma, who came to bat at No.4 on the ongoing IPL 2024 game against Gujarat Titans, looked pleasing to eyes yet again. But he wasted yet another opportunity and bagged another low score at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

Jitesh Sharma perished to Sai Kishore in the 12th over. The keeper-batter hit the first ball of the over for a six and the spinner made sure that he took his revenge. The Gujarat Titans bowler send the right-hander packing on the 4th ball, having troubled him for three balls.

Sai Kishore bowled a sensational delivery that looped, dipped, and turned away from Jitesh Sharma. The batter tried to jump out of his crease and swung too hard. He missed the ball completely as it went on to hit the top of the leg stump. He kept the batter thinking from the second ball.

Here's the video:

Jitesh Sharma yet again threw away the start that he got. The keeper-batter scored just 13 runs off 12 balls. He had a strike rate of around 108 and hit one-six in his innings. His wicket saw Punjab Kings lose their 5th wicket and were left tumbling at 86/5.

Sai Kishore on the other end made sure that he oozes his class with the ball. The left-arm spinner produced a magnificent spell of spin bowling and went on to take two more wickets for his team and put Punjab Kings under pressure at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

Sai Kishore removed both the in-form batters in Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma for low totals. The left-arm spinner jolted Punjab Kings with the wicket of both within the span of his three balls. His sensational bowling effort reduced the home team to 99/7.

If this was not enough, he also removed Harpreet Brar (29) in the last over of his spell. Sai Kishore completed his 4 overs in the match and changed the complexion of the game in his team's favour. The left-arm spinner returned with the figures of 4/33.

PBKS vs GT: Gujarat Titans desperate for a win in IPL 2024

Gujarat Titans are not having the kind of season they would've wanted in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They have played good cricket in patches and have failed to deliver goods consistently in the ongoing season, having reached finals in the last two seasons.

Gujarat Titans are currently 8th on the points table. They would be keen to win the ongoing game against Punjab Kings and bag important points in the league and make a gain. So far they have managed just 3 wins from the 7 games they have played.
