SL vs SA Live- How To Watch The Match In Your Country? South Africa tour of Sri Lanka 2021, 3rd ODI. The three-match ODI series has been a treat to watch for the cricket fans. Two matches have been played so far with both teams winning one game each.

Sri Lanka made a great start to the series after registering a 14-run win in the first ODI. Avishka Fernando starred for them with the bat, scoring 118 off 115 balls.

Janneman Malan

South Africa made a strong comeback in the second game and beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs. Janneman Malan, a rising star from South Africa notched his third century in just nine one-day internationals, to help the team post a competitive total on the board. South Africa posted 283 runs in the first innings. Sri Lanka, in reply, were bundled out for 197 runs in a rain-curtailed encounter.

South Africa would be pretty much confident about their batting. The team are batting quite well in the absence of Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma. Both the openers, Janneman Malan and Aiden Markram have turned up well in the series. The middle-order comprising of Rassie Van der Dussen, Heinrich Klaasen and Reeza Hendricks are also amongst the runs.

Kagiso Rabada had a forgettable outing in the first game but made a strong comeback in the next game. He will once again be leading the pace attack in the important game on Tuesday. Wiaan Mulder and Andile Phehlukwayo will share the fast bowling duties with him.

Tabraiz Shamsi has 6 wickets in the series, including a five-for. He will be the biggest bet for them in the spin bowling department.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, would be expecting Avishka Fernando to play one more big knock on Tuesday. A lot will be on his shoulder on Tuesday. If he lays the foundation at the top of the order, Sri Lanka have the players who could score runs in the middle overs and post a competitive total on the board.

Hasaranga and Akila Dananjaya’s forgettable outings in the last game were one of the reasons why South Africa managed to score a big total. Both Akila Dananjaya and Hasaranga are crucial to Sri Lanka’s fortunes. It remains to be seen how they perform in the final match.

The third and final one-day international between Sri Lanka and South Africa will be played on Tuesday at R. Premadasa Stadium.
