Usually, Virat Kohli has the responsibility of providing entertainment to others on a cricket field. It does not matter whether he bats or not, his presence on the field is enough to entertain the cricket fans.

The former India skipper also rarely fails to entertain the fans. Apart from his ability with the bat, his attitude and aggressive nature are big hits among the fans. But on Tuesday (January 24), the fans decided to entertain Kohli on the cricket field.

It all happened during the third and final ODI between India and New Zealand in Indore. The Men in Blue thrashed the Black Caps by 90 runs to sweep the three-match series. Asked to bat first, India piled up a mammoth total of 385 for 9 in the allotted 50 overs.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill led the charge with the bat by scoring centuries and adding 212 runs for the first wicket. While captain Rohit scored 101, Gill scored 112. Hardik Pandya then provided the finishing touches by scoring 54 runs off 38 balls.

In reply, New Zealand once again failed to put up a good challenge with the bat and were all out for 295. Opener Devon Conway played a fighting knock of 138 runs but did not receive good support from the other end. For India, Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav picked up 3 wickets apiece.

Fans entertain Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli did not have a good outing with the bat in Indore as he scored 36. The fans, however, managed to bring a smile on his face by chanting the name Sara.

It all began when Shubman Gill was fielding near the boundary at backward square leg. Kohli, on the other hand, was fielding at mid-wicket.

Seeing Gill near the boundary, the fans decided to tease him by chanting: “Hamari bhabhi kaisi ho? Sara bhabhi jaisi ho”.

In recent times, Gill has been linked with Sara Tendulkar as well as Sara Ali Khan. And while Gill did not give any reaction to the chants, Kohli was amused by it. He was quick to react to the chants. He first looked towards the section of the fans before giving them a smile. He then asked them to continue with the chants, making it clear that he enjoyed it.
